My interest in martial arts was introduced to me by my uncle who at the time lived in the Bronx, New York when I was 7 or 8 years old. After that I began training Taekwon-do in 1989 under my first instructor Daniel Muñiz from Ponce, Puerto Rico. During those years my instructor was affiliated with the ITF Young Brothers organization of Puerto Rico under Master Benny Rivera 6th degree at that time. My experience began to grow in the discipline of Korean martial arts. My first international trip as a color belt ranking student was in 1991 Caracas Venezuela where I obtaining a first place and a second place. In 1993 I was given my first black belt through ITF Young Brothers Puerto Rico. In 1994 my Instructor Mr. Muñiz decided to become affiliated with the Global Taekwon-do Federation under the Former Founder of GTF Grandmaster Park Jung Tae. In that same year I traveled to my second international trip to the Dominican Republic to compete in a friendly tournament as of this day my competitive career began. In 1996 first trip to the North American Championships in Ottawa, Canada where I recieved 3 gold medals for patterns where I also partivipated in wrestling and team fights, this is where I had the honor to meet for the 1st time our late Grandmaster Park Jung Tae together with the Puerto Rican team, that same year in 1996 Grandmaster Park visited Puerto Rico for our Caribbean Cup championship directed by Mr. Sixto Solano, in thos championship I competed and recieved first place in patterns and second place in sparring a was awarded grand champion in patterns. Our Great Founding Master of GTF had realized my talent in performing the pattern Jook-Am. In 1997 we returned to Canada to compete in the North American championship with the Puerto Rican team where I obtained three gold medals in patterns and sparring as a team, that same year Grand Master Park returned to visit Puerto Rico in the championship in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico Cup mayor, I also competed and and recieved first place and a second place. In 1998 I traveled to my first trip to Europe in the European GTF Taekwon-do championship in Germany where I competed and recieved two silver medals and one bronze for the Puerto Rican team. In 1999 I traveled to Canada from New York to participate in the North American Championship here I obtained two gold medals and at the banquet I demonstrated the pattern Jook-Am presented By Grandmaster Park. In 2000 travled to the GTF Taekwon-do World Championship in Rimini, Italy where I obtained two silver medals and one of bronze and I participated in the demonstration team. 2002 I was invited to live by Grand Master Park Jung Tae to work at the headquarters in Toronto, Canada to be an instructor of the Global Taekwon-do center. I spent 1 year after his passing supporting the Park's family Later that same year I participated in the world GTF Taekwon-do championship in Canada, I obtained a gold and silver medal for the Puerto Rican team.

In 2005 I worked with Mr. Chris Gantner from New Jersey at that time he was a 6th degree black belt, that same year I returned to the island of Puerto Rico to work for the GTFPR organization, 2006 I traveled to Sardinia, Italy for the world championship, I worked as a referee and international judge. In 2009 I traveled to Malaysia for the GTF world Championships this is the only event I participated in and recieved a gold medal in patterns, I also worked as an international referee and judge. From the beginning of 2011 to the end of 2013 I worked with Master García and ITF Grandmaster Benny Rivera in the short term, I had a good learning experience with these two gentlemen. In 2015 I examined for my 7th degree Black belt Master in Toronto, Canada with several of the GTF Masters. In 2022 I became part of the GTF Taekwon-do technical executive committee directed by Grandmaster Chris Gantner the current leader of the GTF Taekwon-do technical committee. My experience and trajectory helped me teach other generations morality, respect, discipline and dedication to have a path to success.
